The team working on the iV-Morph project consists of members from the University of Rostock
Christian Tominski
Scientist at the Chair of Visual Analytics at the University of Rostock, Germany. He received doctoral (Dr.-Ing.) and post-doctoral (Dr.-Ing. habil.) degrees in 2006 and 2015, respectively. In 2021, he was granted the title of professor (apl. Prof.) for human-data interaction. His main research interests are in visualization of and interaction with data, focusing on interactive exploration of complex data.Christian has published numerous papers on visualization techniques for multivariate, temporal, and geo-spatial data, including time-oriented visualization books in 2011, 2015, and 2020.Developed systems like LandVis for spatio-temporal health data, VisAxes for time-oriented data, and the CGV system for coordinated graph visualization.
Abdulhaq Adetunji Salako
Abdulhaq is a scientist at the Institute for Visual and Analytic Computing at the University of Rostock, Germany. He joined the Chair of Visual Analytics as a Project Assistant and Ph.D. student in February 2024. Since then, his work has focused on interactive visual metamorphosis for multi-view data exploration. In particular, his research emphasizes developing novel user navigation techniques that enable smooth transitions between complex visual representations in multi-faceted datasets.
